Just a quick post to let you know that the Studio is open for C-Art 8-17 September, 10-4 every day. I'm exhibiting with artist Tracy Metcalfe and she has set up her Adana letterpress in the Studio.

I'm busy finishing off a little series of butterflies of the Solway. This is the rare Marsh Fritillary which I'll be working on today. It's a reduction linocut so I can only have a limited number of prints off it. I'm working to an edition of 10. I print a colour, cut away some more of the single tiny lino block, and then print some more. It's a bit like walking a tightrope but it's a lovely process.
