The Get Creative Festival shines a light on all the great cultural activity that takes place right across the UK on a regular basis and encourages people to try their hand at something new and creative. The annual festival is a merger of the previous Get Creative Weekend and Voluntary Arts Festival – now joined together to make one huge nationwide event.
So as part of Get Creative, I'm running three one-hour workshops called 'Simple Printing without a Press' on Saturday 17 March at Linden Print Studio:
You will be able to make a set of bright prints using the gel plate technique. You don't need any prior experience of printmaking. Aprons are provided as well as lots of fun materials and inks.
Suitable for families and supervised children aged 6 and above.
Please note: due to limited, space, this is not a drop-in event. You will need to book via the website - choose the 'Family Fun' tab at the top and select your time.
Each session lasts one hour, 4 participants per session.
£2.50 covers materials and paints.
This is a not-for-profit event, just charging enough to cover my material costs.
As on-site parking is limited, you will be emailed parking instructions closer to the date.
You can book online here, just choose the 'Family Fun' tab at the top.
